How SuccessfulSight™ Works

From the first evaluation with your optometrist to ongoing therapy at home — here is what the full SuccessfulSight™ experience looks like for families.

1

Your Optometrist Evaluates and Prescribes the Program

SuccessfulSight™ is available through participating optometrists. Your provider determines whether the program is a fit, establishes your starting point, and prescribes the program.

2

You Receive Access to the Program and Home Equipment Kit

The program is completed on iPad and includes the equipment needed to perform therapy activities at home. Families receive everything required to follow the program the way it is designed.

3

Therapy Is Guided Step by Step

Patients move through a structured program that includes video walkthroughs, interactive activities, real-space therapy tasks, and performance-based progression. Every activity has clear instructions and a defined goal.

4

Progress Adapts Over Time

Scores and performance help guide progression through the program, allowing therapy to adjust to the patient's level. Patients who advance quickly move forward; patients who need more time get more time.

5

Help Is There When You Need It

Families can message with a vision therapist, participate in scheduled virtual check-ins, and arrange one-on-one virtual sessions when needed. You are not left to figure it out on your own.

6

Your Local Optometrist Stays Involved

Follow-up visits happen locally through the prescribing provider. Their clinical evaluations and data guide how SuccessfulSight™ designs and adapts the program for the patient.

Common Questions About the Program Flow

How long does the program take?

Most patients complete the program in 18–24 weeks. The program is built around a defined set of therapy goals, and exact length depends on how consistently the patient completes sessions and how quickly they progress through each stage.

How many minutes per day?

Plan on 30-minute sessions, 5 days a week — 3 structured therapy sessions plus 2 additional practice sessions to reinforce progress. Because the program is virtual, sessions can be completed anytime that works for the family.

Do I need a strong internet connection?

A reasonably stable connection is needed for syncing progress, therapist messaging, and scheduled check-ins. Activities themselves run on the iPad without needing continuous connectivity.

What if we have questions during the week?

Families have several ways to get help: message with a vision therapist (responses within one business day), attend monthly scheduled virtual check-ins, and request a one-on-one virtual session when more guidance is needed. One one-on-one session is included in the program; additional sessions are available for an added cost.

What if the patient falls behind?

The program is adaptive — if the patient needs more time on a skill, SuccessfulSight™ adjusts the progression based on performance. Your prescribing optometrist reviews the data at follow-ups and can provide clinical input that guides how the program continues to be adapted.
